Healthy Food Box is a local food delivery system that help promoting healthy eating habit at home and suporting local small farming business. This project aimed to build regional communities around preparing and eating healthy meals. The mobile application we proposed acted as a portal into a personalized produce delivery platform.
The food box is not the only thing we deliver to the users, through our application, users can access to all the recipes selected and shared by local farmers and community members.
Triggered by the push notification, users received the latest recipes from our system. Once users submit their choice of recipes, local distributores will pack all the produce and ingredients and dispatch the food box as soon as possible. Food box will be delivered to the designated location within the timeframe users choose.
Let's take a look at the story of Olivia's family, too see how healthy food box fits into our daily life
1. Olivia is a single mom with two children in Seattle. She just downloaded the healthy food box application, an application that delivers food box to her house so that she can enjoy fresh and healthy food with her kids.
2. Olivia is thinking about what to cook for her kids tonight. There are not much left in her fridge, but she would rather not taking her kids to fast food chains. "What should I do?" she thinks.
3. Suddently, her phone buzzs. It is the Healthy Food Box application pushes new recepies to her.
4. Olivia browsed through the recipes, and picked the ones she would like to cook tonight.
5. Food distributors receive her order, and bring together produce from various local farms, and arrange them in the box, and diaptch it as soon as possible.
6.Food box is delivered to Olivia's house after she gets home from work, the timeframe she picked online earlier today.
7. When she gets her box of healthy food, she also reads the story about the farm and the farmers who grow these produce.

8. Olivia reads the recipe and uses the comapnion app to begin preparing dinner for her family.
9. Olivia and her kids enjoyed a delicious and healthy dinner together.
In order for our project to be sucessful, we haved also identified the potential risk and preformed competitive analysis on exsiting products.
